Retirement day 1: No Bells, No Whistles.. just peace and solitude and quiet time to do with the day what I choose..
I spent today re-installing Microsoft Word 2007 as my computer crashed a while ago and I never found the time to just get to it..
Also re-configured my Outlook Mail program to show all my emails...
Little things that take time and when working, I just did not find the ability to do it..
On days off so many things to do first and this fell to way side.
Interestingly, a main part of my previous last employment dealt with the ability to be computer literate.  Not an expert but good enough to trouble shoot..
It is an interesting dilemma for those of us from the 60's generation who have not grown up with computers.  I find there are some who take to it and others who really struggle and some who just give up.
Well enough on Computer issues..

I posted to a few of my craft sites and checked my photos of jewelry..and sent off for a possible Craft Designer position.. non paying but freebee stuff.. and that is really what this Blog is about.. Crafting and links to craft sites and questions of where to go and how to do the craft. (links for videos when possible)

I do teach at a local Craft Store beading/stringing and now Chain Maille.  some may call it 'jump ring jewelry..
I love silver (though) the price is going sky high.. I work a lot with Anodize Aluminum and for the money and looks it really is a good substitute for the silver.  However, you need to be careful where you purchase your aluminum  there is a large variation in the quality.

I will post in the coming days the sites that I use for jewelry and aluminum.  I am not getting any pay for this, it is purely and simply a Blog for sharing information for those who are looking for some crafting and sharing of creative ideas.

I hope to make the crafting experience one that is more pleasant than that of trying to scope out sites individually..
In addition I will share with you what I am working on at the moment and hope to make a few friends along the way as well.

I will be starting a Metalsmithing class at the Local Art Studio, next Wednesday and will post info. and progress on that as well.  It will be an adventure and fun as well...

Bead and wire works are my favorite crafts thus far, however I am not limited to that as I sew and crochet and photograph craft items.
Perhaps we can share creative sites and venues to interest in our desire to manage and enjoy our time...

I am new to blogging and welcome suggestions and guidance.
yours in links/beads/crafts and most of all FUN!
